My client is a global leader in their field of manufacturing, sales and servicing of bespoke capital equipment based in Kempston, Beds.

Due to the retirement of the present incumbent, they are seeking a highly adept Engineering Manager to oversee and manage the team of 17 mechanical, electrical, design and software engineers and running a 25000 sqft manufacturing area.

These are exciting times for the business and the person who has excellent man management skills, strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, ideally has had some design experience and be computer literate to use their ERP to export to Excel to provide reports to the MD and be highly analytical.

You will be involved with the new product rollout, timely launch, management of budgets, involvement in product development etc

This role reports to the MD and is responsible for the smooth running of the manufacturing team, new products, bespoke customer products and someone who has a good eye for details and who can see area’s that can improve processes and procedures.
